SPACE
SPACE for You and Your Baby
The SPACE (Supporting Parents Alongside Children’s Education) programme runs for 30 weeks, spanning three school terms. It’s designed for parents and babies, providing support and guidance throughout your baby’s first year. Babies must be between 0-4 months old when starting a group, and you can join anytime during the programme, although it’s most beneficial to start as close to the starting date as possible to get the full experience.
Meeting weekly across 30 sessions, you and your baby will enjoy a safe, relaxed environment to explore parenting, your baby’s development, and to build friendships with other parents—friendships that can last a lifetime. Through SPACE, you’ll build a “village” of support as you and your baby experience this special first year together.
Explore Topics Like:
Sleep and routines – Gain insight into creating healthy sleep patterns for your baby.

Brain development and growth – Learn about the stages of your baby’s development.
Play and early learning – Discover how play supports learning and explore fun, age-appropriate activities.
Attunement and connection – Build a deep, responsive connection with your baby.
Reflective parenting techniques – Learn strategies to support your parenting journey.

One of the greatest benefits of SPACE is the sense of community it creates. Each week, you’ll gather with parents who are navigating similar milestones and challenges. Many families find the relationships they build in SPACE provide invaluable support and connection, enriching their parenting experience.
-
SPACE groups are led by trained facilitators dedicated to supporting new parents and their babies. Your facilitator will ensure every session is welcoming and enjoyable, guiding you through activities and conversations so you leave each week feeling refreshed, encouraged, and inspired in your journey as a parent.
-
The cost of SPACE is $150, paid in advance, covering the full 30-week programme, including all materials and facilitator guidance. Contact your local SPACE provider to confirm details and ask about any available subsidies.
